In the art studio, we have talked about many different kinds of painting. We have used watercolors, created rainbows, mixed tints and shades and much more! One of my personal favorite ways to create the "main characters" in my own paintings is by painting *around* the colors already on my paper to create the object I wish to paint. If you click this link, you can watch me work on one of my own paintings in my (very cold) art studio in my basement! Even though I use paint in the video, you can do this using crayons on top of crayons, or markers on top of markers. For now, enjoy watching me paint one of my small paintings on wood! Be Well and I miss you all, Mrs. Mitchell
